The scarf I made for my cousin, for the coming Christmas, is complete!

I still need to weave in the ends, add my maker’s tag, hand wash, and block, but no more knitting is required. :)

The yarn used is Big Twist Value in Deep Red.

I think it turned out well. My cousin tried it on just before the icord cast off, so I know it’s long enough at 68 inches.

I have already started on the hat. As I mentioned in my previous blog, it is a Sloan Beanie. The yarn weight is a 4 and the usual weight for Sloan design is 2 weight, but I think it’s turning out fine.

It should be finished very soon.

The best thing about heavier weights of yarn is how fast items can be finished.
